The brewery bar

We open the Brewery Bar monthly for our Beer Club, but we also host private parties, corporate entertainment and other functions on a Saturday evening, please call us for further details.

The stylish Brewery Bar sits at mezzanine level in a grand Victorian building, which used to generate electricity for the Shipley trams. The bar area has space to seat 50 and the Brewing Hall below offers further seating and an area for a buffet, music and dancing, if required. The brewery has a capacity for 150+ people, depending on the time of year, with a covered patio available.

As we’ve increased our brewing and are now doing shift work, we can’t do tours or events on weekday evenings any more.

Weekend functions

We charge £300 for the venue hire, and beer is a very competitively priced £2.50 a pint. We can put on a range of our cask ales, plus red and white wine, soft drinks, cider and perry.

Camra visits

We’re always pleased to host visiting CAMRA groups on Saturday lunchtimes. We have had groups from all over the country and all have enjoyed themselves. Shipley and Saltaire have a number of highly regarded pubs and you can easily put together a great social day out. We put you in touch with our BLO and invite local CAMRA members to make sure you don’t miss out any of the good pubs in the area.

Children

Due to the fact we operate a working brewery, health and safety considerations prevent us from allowing visitors during working hours and from allowing children into our the Brewery Bar (sorry!)

Food

We have a variety of catering options that are available to us through our catering partners. We offer a range of menus, from the traditional favourite ‘Pie & Pea Supper’, a great ‘Curry Buffet’ from the Shimla Spice restaurant, or a scrumptious ‘Mixed Buffet’. If you have a special request then we will source it for you.
