We’re going cycling mad for Bike Week 2018, from social cycles to a bike powered pop-up cinema, we’ve got you covered!

Ride n’ a Pint

We’ve joined forces with MTB Cycle Yorkshire to encourage our beer fans to dust off their bikes and pedal for a pint by joining in with any (or all!) of our free social cycles.

Meeting at the Brewery Tap, these social rides will take you out and about through great local terrain. We want to show you where to go to get out on your bike locally before finishing up for a pint, or two, back at the Tap. All routes will suit beginner-intermediate cyclists, so if you’ve been looking to get on your bike, but not sure where to go, this is for you.

Bikes with front suspension and helmets are a must as you’ll be getting off the beaten track into some bumpier regions!

Sunday 10th June 5pm – 8pm

Tuesday 12th June 6.30pm – 9.30pm

Thursday 14th June 6.30pm – 9.30pm

Please meet promptly at the start time as we’ll be setting off just shortly after.

Pop-up Cinema

Taking our Bike Week activities up a gear, we’re teaming up with CityConnect to host a bike-powered pop-up cinema right here on Wednesday 13th June.

And the choice is yours… visit our Facebook event page to place your vote on which of the three films you’d pedal to watch including Stand by Me, Back to the Future and Breaking Away.

Come along from 7pm with the chosen film showing from 8.30pm onwards. You’ll also be encouraged to take it in turns to use your pedal power and keep the film running – we’re hoping there’ll be no cliff hangers!

Miski Mexican Street Food

We’ll be ending our Bike Week festivities and kick-starting our Father’s Day celebrations at the Brewery Tap by bringing you delicious and authentic Mexican street food from the brilliant Miski on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June. Great beer AND great food? There’s surely no better way to spend the weekend.

Ps. Don’t forget our shiny new bike rack has been fitted in the Brewery Tap beer garden too!
