We’re hiring! PR, Content & Social Executive

Due to team expansion, Saltaire Brewery is looking for a PR, Content & Social Media Executive to join the team and manage all PR & social media activity. The role will involve working closely with the Marketing Manager to help deliver the strategic marketing plan through a very exciting time for the brewery, and beyond.


The day-to-day role will include:

• Building an insight driven social media, content and PR strategy

• Working with the Marketing Manager to proactively develop ideas that complement the wider marketing plan

• Content writing for blog posts and press releases, tapping into key topics

• Building relationships with journalists and bloggers, issuing press releases and organising activity to gain strong coverage

• Generating and managing a content calendar of regular, relevant and meaningful content for social media

• Managing the brewery social media accounts, including proactive planned activity and reactive management as required

• Building online engagement and relationships with our followers and peers

• Ensuring all content is on brand and consistent

• Supporting with content for e-marketing

• Evaluating social media and PR performance through monthly reporting


The ideal candidate:

• A strong understanding of what can be achieved with PR and social media, as well as how that plays a part in the wider marketing plan

• Experience in developing strategic PR, content & social media strategies

• Experience in content planning for social media and PR

• Experience in liaising with journalists and bloggers, building relationships

• Excellent content-writing skills, with good attention to detail and ability to write in a specified tone of voice for a variety of audiences

• Positive, proactive and creative self-starter

• Experience with Microsoft Office and social media management tools


Experience required:

• 1-3 years experience in a similar role, either in an agency or in-house

• Salary dependent on experience

You will report into the Marketing Manager who will support you as required to deliver your day-to-day work, however you will need to bring the skills and imagination to lead the social media and PR activity independently in order to be suitable for the role.
